Moonstruck (1987, Movie)

The storyline does a great job of portraying the the interactions between the generations within the NYC Italian family, and is just hilarious in its finest moments. The Grandpa is my favorite.  A true classic that lives up to the hype, and leaves you smiling at the end!

The Last of the Mohicans (1992, Movie)

The story takes place in 1757 during the Seven Years' War [1756-1763] known in America as the French and Indian War, when France and the Britain battled for control of the American and Canadian colonies. The cinematography and filming locations were breathtaking.

「沒有神的所在-私房閱讀金瓶梅」 作者：侯文詠

《金瓶梅》作者是蘭陵笑笑生，描寫的背景是有關西門慶家族的興衰，《金瓶梅》的時空與登場人事物相當地快速，短短不到十年的故事時間流，讀者看到了西門慶的快速掘起與隕歿，看到了大戶家族中的妻妾惡鬥，也看到了樹倒狐猻散的敗壞，看到了在亂世間為了生存的敗德，也看到了人的靈魂墮落與昇華，當然也讓喜歡從總體經濟背景的我，透過侯文詠的解讀，抽絲撥繭地替我導讀了本書中一些關於明末資本主義的濫觴，也見識到中國史上政商關係的萌芽。


不過本書並非金瓶梅，而是金瓶梅的導讀，作者不是蘭陵笑笑生而是侯文詠，而本書「沒有神的所在-私房閱讀金瓶梅」則是用多樣面貌與獨特觀點去揭開金瓶梅隱諱在情愛性欲下的豐富內容。侯文詠的導讀相當程度地掀開了金瓶梅的種種密碼。



《金瓶梅》列為中國四大奇書, 絕不是因為書中的內容只是淫穢, 對於當時的文化及人性的描寫竟然能如此的深刻。在書中不再是找尋香辣刺激的片段, 隨著作者蘭陵笑笑生的文字, 確實讓我看到了更多的人性。相信侯文詠在這本書上花了相當多的時間整理, 要在這麼隱諱的文字中挖出深藏在文字中的意義絕非易事。

侯文詠的一段話來總節自己讀後的感言：
     「當價值不再，一切只剩下慾望時，生命會變成什麼？」

或許現在的我可以找到一點答案，那就是無常與毀滅。
