Van Helsing (a character taken from the Bram Stoker novel, "Dracula") is a spiritual being employed by the Vatican to help thin out the demon and monster population. They send him to Transylvania to assist the Valerious family in going after Count Dracula and his minions. The movie is fast-paced, has plenty of action and special effects, and has enough tongue-in-cheek humor to keep you grinning the whole way through.

Soul Surfer (Movie, 2011)

It's an inspirational movie about a very inspirational person. Making this story for Bethany Hamilton was really great and AnnaSophia Robb did good job on making her role for much of the storytelling.

The lily and the rose

The sixteenth-century text of The Lily and the Rose is full of multiple meaning, but perhaps the most compelling one suggests it is a song the Virgin Mary sings, grieving for her dying son. The piece was written for the 2002 Oklahoma Music Educators Association Children’s Chorus, conducted by Jean Ashworth Bartle.

Spawn: The Movie (Movie, 1997)

Spawn is a cool character, but this movie just didn't do him justice. It moves too fast and tries to condense fifty issues of comic book into an hour and a half movie. 

It's about a demon that comes back to earth to save his family and the world from certain doom. The special effects are unbelievable for 1997, and still decent by today's standards.
