Criminal (Movie, 2016)
After a CIA agent got murdered, CIA turns to a doctor and an experimental procedure, which will allow the agents memories to be transferred into someone else's mind. The only problem is that the procedure requires a certain type of mind, the mind of a psychopath. Kevin Costner stars and reminds us all of what a terrific actor he truly is.
There are also plenty of holes in the plot and a bad guy with more resources than the USA, UK and Russia combined. Then there all the characters that get shot or blown up, but never die.

The Duel (Movie, 2016)
The director (or editor) was too liberal with Woody Harrelson's part. He is chilling as a charismatic religious leader of a cult-like town with a dark secret but you can’t have him seducing the hero’s wife away from him by causing her to go into a delirious fever and not explain how he did it or why she was swayed.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (Movie, 2017)
This Jumanji has a great deal of humor and new age additions. The story line was cute and the casting was great! It's a great retake on the game that started it all.

Coco (Movie, 2017)
It ties into the culture of Mexico amazingly well. It is also beautiful in the use of color.
It is so spectacularly animated by Pixar; a spectacularly written screenplay that is a warm tribute to Mexican culture. The song, "Remember Me" sung beautifully in different parts of the film by Benjamin Bratt and Gael Garcia Bernal, is especially memorable.

Thor: Ragnarok (Movie, 2017)
Ragnarok is about the destruction of the gods, not the end of the world but rebirth. Cheesy, fun and a bit ridiculous. Not as bad as Justice League, but there's definitely better in the Marvel universe.

Justice League (Movie, 2017)
It's a comic book movie that is supposed to be fun and entertaining. Now we have Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg in the same movie! However, Wonder Woman was "too" unrealistically powerful in this portrayal.
