Robin Hood (2010, Movie)
This movie is about the creation of Robin Hood. With an excellent performance by Cate Blanchett and Russell Crowe--the latter of whom seems to do his best work under Ridley Scott's direction-- this is a well-made film that may not quite hit the heights reached by Gladiator but is still a very good historical epic in its own right.

Mrs. Miracle(Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle) (2009, Movie)
It is a great Christmas movie. This film is predictable but still sweet and positive with the message of reconciliation and forgiveness. Perfect themes for the feel good Christmas movie. Doris Roberts is wonderful as Mrs. Miracle who is nothing less than a gift from God to this hurting young family who is in need of lots of tender loving care.

Thor (2011, Movie)
Chris Hemsworth is uncanny as the God of Thunder, possessing the enormous gravitas of the character and evolving into a true hero. The characters in the Marvel universe have very rich story lines thanks to years of comic books. Again, even if you're not a fan of the comic, Thor still entertains.

Rio (2011, Movie)
A rare bird in domestication finds itself in Rio because he's the last of his kind and needs to reproduce to continue the line but things get complicated. Beyond the visuals, though, this is just a fun film for the entire family, with a humorous, heartwarming story. By the way, I didn't watch it in 3D.
