Arrival (Movie, 2016)

Arrival attempts to interweave the sci-fi story with an intimate, emotional human story, probing themes of non-linear time. While I appreciate that the story is about humans trying to communicate with aliens rather than trying to kill them, the movie was basically almost 2 hours of Amy Adams breathing heavy. I hated how it jumped around in time, basically making it nonsensical.
