Invictus is a poem of courage. Many people who are going through difficult times memorize it. It was the favorite poem of Nelson Mandela who was imprisoned for 27 years. He later became president of South Africa.

A poet chooses words carefully, writes with meter, sometimes rhyme, and usually a strong feeling. A poem is more than a set of lines that rhyme.

祖宗十九代 (2018, Movie)

穿越劇，由4個故事構成。邏輯上不嚴謹，也就不是一個完整的故事。

笑點真的很尷尬，除了看到很多熟悉的面孔外卻都行於流水，這樣的豪華陣容卻毫無營銷手段，導演功力還是欠火候。人物塑造不豐滿，主題中心沒有點出，故事跨度也大，穿越從民國、大清、明朝嘉靖年間、晉朝一路奔到了上古世界，連造人的女媧、追日的夸父、嘗百草的神農都出來了。每個故事嵌合度不好，最後導致整個故事並不完整，故事被強行結束。全靠明星大咖撐起一部電影。

Logan (Movie, 2017)

In this future of 2029 no mutants have been born in over 20 years. The son of the scientist that created Wolverine's strengthened skeleton has wiped out the mutant population.... except Wolverine, Xavier, and Calipso. 

Logan, the once mighty Wolverine, is sick. All the other mutants are gone, and Charles is losing his mind. The effects of cuts, bullets, and damage is seen on screen, just as it would if you were there. It will be brutal, but also beautifully done.

Logan Lucky (Movie, 2017)

This movie has high-end cast but horrible delivery. The story was boring & unnecessarily complex. It was not funny. It was not believable as a heist film. Disappointed to see Daniel Craig's role.

The Code (Movie, 2009)

"The Code" is a heist film that begins with a bang when a seasoned and aging thief, Keith Ripley (Morgan Freeman) recruits a younger thief, Gabriel Martin (Antonio Banderas) who he witnesses robbing a commuter on a subway train.  

The heist bit feels like a miniature version of Ocean's 11. There were a few twists and turns I didn't see coming.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (Movie, 2017)

Children and imagination-challenged teens might like it. The visual effects are the only reason I liked it. Some characters looked familiar. Did the first villain have to resemble Jabba the Hutt? 

Cutting out 30 minutes or more would have increased the tension.
