Arrival (Movie, 2016)

Arrival attempts to interweave the sci-fi story with an intimate, emotional human story, probing themes of non-linear time. While I appreciate that the story is about humans trying to communicate with aliens rather than trying to kill them, the movie was basically almost 2 hours of Amy Adams breathing heavy. I hated how it jumped around in time, basically making it nonsensical.

Lion (Movie, 2016)

Beautiful, amazing and deeply heartfelt. I was surprised that this was a true story. Some scenes did drag on a bit, especially at the beginning. Nicole Kidman is a plus.

The Expendables 3 (Movie, 2014)

I love watching the "older members" who I'd grown accustomed to seeing on the screen doing battle. Hard to believe that almost all of them have headlined their own movies at one time - in the past. Then you have to get ready to see a new lot of Expendables get recruited. Lots of action and entertaining.

情人節的自由花：

In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (Movie, 2007)

Statham played the same kind of character that he does in all of his movies. It works for him and action is what people usually expect from a Jason Statham movie. It is a little too long, the Krug costumes are a little too rubbery making them look like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles rejects. 

As usual, I find that my hubby enjoyed this kind of light entertaining fantasy movie pretty much.
