A fantasy of light transforms the Arboretum into an evening wonderland. We enjoyed a delightful evening at this Thanksgiving night. Such magnificent lantern art depicting exotic animals, shimmering flowers, whimsical pandas, soaring dragons and other themes create the mesmerizing experience of Moonlight Forest.
I had no idea how HUGE the exhibit would be until I actually went and it's crazy. The entire garden area was filled with animals, flowers, pagodas, special shows, and the lanterns really bring you to another world. The lanterns on display at this particular festival are made and shipped directly from Sichuan province. LA Arboretum brings South China lanterns to you from across the ocean! It's well worth it.
