LECTURE: TIMELESS MELODIES: POPULAR DANCE: FROM THE WALTZ TO WEST SIDE STORY

Larry Maurer, educator and expert in American music continues this celebration of dance featuring clips and behind-the-scenes accounts from some of our most beloved musicals. I really enjoyed the "tap" dance of "Begin the Bequine" by Eleanor Powell and Fred Astaire in 1940. Then again, 'West Side Story' is a must-see movie of Jerome Robbins's talent.
